What to do when you get a general protection fault.
General protection fault sometimes called GPF is caused by a program accessing a portion of a memory that is being using by another programs. Sometimes it is also cause by a program that is still on testing stage and still have bugs that need to be resolved. To resolve this close or disable other programs that is running simultaneously with the current program or operations you are using. Free some virtual space by emptying your temporary files, scan or defrag your computer and lastly make sure your hardrive has enough disk space to run the program. If this does not solve the problem, test the memory of your computer by swapping it with a working one.
